Common questions
  • I would like more information on how to publish my book, how do I do it?"
You can call us to see if we can meet in person, or if you prefer, we can talk about your project by phone, whatsapp or email.
  • What do I need to have a complete budget for my book publishing project?

Do you have any predictions or estimates for having the books in hand?

Just access the author's or author's social network and deal directly with her/him or send us an email requesting the acquisition of the intended copy.
  • Do you do the textual revision - linguistic/grammatical and ABNT adequacy of the texts we send?
Yes, we do. But depending on the genre or textual type of your work, first we make notes, as there are textual marks/styles that are unique to each author(or), so it is up to us to have a dialogue to better build your project in line with your ideas.
  • What is ISBN?
The ISBN (International Standard Book Number/ Standard International Book Numbering) is a numerical standard created with the aim of providing a kind of "RG" for monographic publications, such as books, articles and books. The global diffusion of the ISBN and the ease with which it is read by retail chains, libraries and general cataloging systems, has made it essential for any publication. Click here to find out which publications do and do not require an ISBN. The string is created from a registration system used by publishing and booksellers around the world. It is made up of 13 numbers that indicate the title, author, country, publisher and edition of a work.
  • What is the DOI?
The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is part of a system that offers digital identifiers for objects that allow the unequivocal and persistent identification of any type of entity (physical, digital or abstract) in the environment of the Internet. Examples of objects that can receive a DOI name include a music CD (physical structure), its archives (digital structure) of recordings with music performances (abstract structure). The DOI system infrastructure is defined by the ISO 26324 standard, called Information and documentation: digital object identifier system, and is promoted by the International DOI Foundation (IDF). The standard makes it clear that the DOI name refers to the digital identifier of an object and not the identifier of a digital object. The DOI name is permanently assigned to an object, providing a persistent network link to up-to-date information about that object, including where the object, or information about it, can be found on the internet. The system was consolidated with the creation of the International DOI Foundation (IDF) and DOI name registration agencies, including Crossref. This agency operates in the context of academic 6 and scientific publications, and is one of the authorities responsible for registering and assigning DOI identifiers, and must maintain quality control of assigned names and avoid conflict in assignments.
  • What is Catalog Sheet?
It is a mandatory and essential document for your work. With a team made up of librarians with the Regional Certificate in Librarianship, the Brazilian Book Chamber (CBL) provides a very complete cataloging model. The issuance of the document takes place in stages and takes into account each of the elements and data of a work. It all starts with analyzing the form and material sent by the editor. We then move on to the thematic representation phase, which lists each work according to their areas of knowledge. And finally, the classification of each book or monographic publication takes place. In addition to all the data necessary for cataloging a publication, the document issued by CBL receives the name of the responsible librarian and the number of the active CRB, the Regional Librarianship certificate, in accordance with Resolution 184/2017 of the Federal Council of Librarianship.
